Friday the 13th!!!

Today is Friday the 13th and for the unlucky things people say - nothing happened!

According to wikipedia and other sources : A Friday occurring on the 13th day of any month is considered to be a day of bad luck in many superstitions around the globe. Similar superstitions exist in some other traditions. In Greece and Spain, for example, Tuesday the 13th takes the same role. The fear of Friday the 13th is called paraskavedekatriaphobia, paraskevidekatriaphobia or friggatriskaidekaphobia, a specialized form of triskaidekaphobia, a phobia (fear) of the number thirteen.

Well there are plenty of reasons which are attributed to this. But some people take it so seriously.

Take a look at this where a Friday the 13th warning was sounded in CARDIFF, Wales. "This all because Friday the 13th is seen as being especially ominous to motorists in Wales as the day is linked to higher rates of serious accidents needing hospitalization.Motoring watchdog the RAC Foundation says the risk is always greater on a Friday, with more road accidents between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. than on any other day, reports ICWales."

Nutty is what I think. By putting out warnings like this - they are making sure drivers are sitting on the edge of their seats worried - causing more accidents I guess.

Anyways what ever it is - No Badluck or Goodluck - it is just another normal borin' day.
