One road death every 30 hours in Dubai

FUJAIRAH — One person is killed every 30 hours in accidents in Dubai, while 40 per cent of the accidents taking place in Dubai involve pedestrians, according to Brigadier Mohammad Saif Al Zafeen, Director of the General Department of Dubai Traffic.
Brig. Al Zafeen was speaking at a Ramadan symposium organised by the Fujairah Cultural and Social Society last Thursday at the Mawada auditorium in Merbeh city in Fujairah.
